Syrian author for Sharjah fest

Duraid Lahham, the Syrian comedian, producer and narrator of the talking book Dajaja Bak Beek by Kalimat, publishers of Arabic children's books in the UAE, is scheduled to make an appearance at Sharjah Reading Festival this week.

The event begins today and runs until February 21 at the Sharjah Expo. Lahham will attend the fair from 5 pm to 7 pm tomorrow.

In their quest to promote Arabic literature, Kalimat continues to re-invent their books by integrating multi-media, audio and print.
