P&T Architects and Engineers, a Hong Kong-based international company employing more than 1,100 staff around the world, has expanded its operations at Dubai Health Care City (DHCC) free zone, recruiting additional staff and increasing the company’s office space to service the increasing number of projects across the Middle East.

William Yuen, Director, P&T Architects in Dubai, said: “Over the past three years, we have witnessed a significant expansion in our client base, our services and the number of employees in order to seize expanding opportunities across the UAE. This growth reflects the continued strategic importance of the region to P&T as we extend our reach throughout the Middle East with local clients and overseas investors. P&T Architect also strengthened its presence in the Middle East by establishing an Abu Dhabi branch last year and further expansion on the structural and MEP departments this year.”

In 2004, P&T won a number of high-profile projects, including City of Arabia, one of the largest private development projects in the region and a key part of Dubailand. This major deal was followed by a residential development in Ajman on the Corniche, distinctive projects and towers in Abu Dhabi, a tower at Dubai Business Bay, hotels in Ras Al Khaimah and recently developments in Dubai Maritime City. P&T is now working in five out of the seven emirates.

P&T’s origins date back to Palmer and Turner established in Hong Kong in 1868.

In 1982, the P&T Group was formed to enable expansion in both disciplines and areas of service. P&T is one of the largest and most famous architect and engineering consultants in the Far East and have been responsible for many landmark high-rise buildings in the region.
