Al Qudra denies divesting its chairman

Al Qudra Holding yesterday denied a report published on Tuesday by Reuters that said the company has divested its chairman of all authority.

"The move behind appointing a new CEO at Al Qudra Holding was made to adhere to the corporate governance regulations, which calls for the separation of the roles of the chairman and managing director," the company said yesterday.
