Better Homes allies with UK insurance firm

Better Homes, a real estate agency, has allied with Royal and Sun Alliance (RSA), a UK-based insurance company. The move comes in the wake of figures that show insurance penetration levels for the UAE are increasing.

"It is important for property owners and tenants to have adequate insurance. We recognised that our clients were having trouble accessing first class products so found them one that can be offered at the time of purchase or lease, with an added advantage of discounted premiums," said Better Homes Managing Director Ryan Mahoney.

RSA worked with Better Homes to come up with a product that offers extensive coverage at an affordable rate. The cover includes elements such as accidental damage in addition to fire, storm and flood.
