Du offers movies on demand

Du announced the launch of its new Video-on-Demand (VoD) service yesterday. The service will enable TV subscribers to access hundreds of movies from the comfort of their homes.

From December 20, viewers will be able to select from a rich catalogue of latest Arabic cinema, Hollywood and Bollywood blockbusters and some of the world's most classic movies, all at the click of a button with du TV.

The VoD service will be available to all du customers, both existing and new, who subscribe to du TV. Customers have to select a film by a simple touch on the du TV remote control and can watch it as many times as they like within 48 hours.

Farid Faraidooni, EVP Commercial, du, said: "For the first time in the UAE, Video on Demand is being made available to TV subscribers, and it is the ultimate way for movie lovers to benefit from the very best in the world's entertainment from the comfort of their living rooms."
