Customers can opt between two decoders by May 31 as the old sets will not work on the new program platform.

Du had announced the Du TV+ in its current fixed line areas last year, which included HDTV (high definition TV). Previously customers could access features such as intuitive and simplified search and display, superior channel browsing.

Du was working with Microsoft previously to bring a new dimension to TV viewing in the UAE.

VOD is new to Du TV+ package as customers will be able to choose between Arabic, English and Hindi movies starting from Dh7.

Du customers will have to pay Dh25 for the basic decoder and Dh55 for sets with the recording feature.
