Panasonic rejects Android for its TVs over cost

Panasonic decided against using Google's Android operating system to handle internet features in its TVs because the approach would be too costly, a company executive said. Panasonic, Samsung, Sony and other makers of HD TVs are adding internet connections to home-entertainment products.
