UAE mobile reach to peak in 2010

The UAE mobile phone market penetration is expected to reach 235 per cent by the end of this year and 251 per cent in 2010, signalling that the market has peaked in terms of expansion.

Business Monitor Inter-national used data from service providers etisalat and du to show that the UAE market ended 2008 with 9.798 million mobile subscribers – an annual growth of 34.5 per cent.
