Xerox 'is most admired firm' in the industry

Xerox, global giant in printing solutions, is the world's most admired company in the computer industry as ranked in Fortune magazine's annual reputation survey.

Xerox jumped to number one from last year's industry ranking of number four.

The survey, compiled by the management consulting firm Hay Group, asked executives, directors, and analysts to rate 1,400 companies on criteria such as innovation, investment value and global competitiveness.

"Xerox's reputation ranks right up there with our people, our brand and our innovation as our most valuable assets," said Anne Mulcahy, Xerox chairman and chief executive officer.
