Dubailand, a member of Tatweer, will showcase 18 of its multiple entertainment concepts for the first time in Dubai at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM).

Each entity will occupy a demarcated booth at its 1,600 sq metre stand, a statement said. An interactive e-book will be available for the travel and tourism community at the premises, providing detailed information on the developments.

"As the region's premier industry event, ATM offers us the ideal platform to showcase our entities. In addition, participation in this year's event is critical for us to convey our state of readiness to global industry leaders, as we steadily move towards the destination's launch in 2010," Dubailand Chief Executive Mohammed Al Habbai, said in the statement. The three billion sq ft Dubailand, when completed, promises to be one of the world's largest tourism destinations. It will play a crucial role in attracting 15 million tourists as envisioned by Dubai Strategic Plan 2015, and generating niche employment opportunities.

Al Habbai added: "An effective business networking platform for international investors, the Global Travel and Tourism Summit in Dubai gave us another opportunity to illustrate the magnitude of Dubailand's projects to visitors".

Dubailand boasts of projects such as Universal City, Freej Theme Park, Marvel Theme Park, Six Flags Theme Park, DreamWorks Animation Park, Dubai Sports City and City of Arabia among others.
