Qatari Diar buys 50% stake in Mahé resort
Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company has said it has agreed with South Africa's entertainment and hospitality group Tsogo Sun Holdings to acquire a 50 per cent stake in the Maia Luxury Resort and Spa in Mahé, Seychelles.
The property, which is an all-villa resort and a member of Leading Small Hotels of the World, stretches 30 acres on the southwest coast of the island of Mahé.
Launched in 2004, Qatari Diar is wholly-owned by the Qatar Investment Authority.
