Inflation rate in Turkey falls to 9.6% in March

Turkish inflation slowed in March for the first month in five, strengthening the case for keeping interest rates at a historic low even as growth accelerates. The annual inflation rate fell to 9.6 per cent from 10.1 per cent the previous month, the statistics office said. It was forecast at 9.6 per cent, according to the median estimate of 13 economists.
