Abdullah Al Shaibani, General Secretary of the Dubai Executive Council, discussed with Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Deputy Member and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Head of the Infrastructure Committee, the Dubai Strategic Plan and the core role the committee can play to execute and implement it.
Al Tayer outlined the role the committee can plan to achieve Dubai Government's objectives in all the dimensions of the plan and its continuous follow up.
Al Tayer stressed the importance of using appropriate international performance indicators and standards along with the implementation of best global practices. Al Shaibani also highlighted the significance of approving a management system for the execution of the strategic plan.
