ABU DHABI Overseas investors will be able to have a stake in Al Sowwa Island, the new business district being developed in Abu Dhabi by Mubadala Real Estate and Hospitality.
The developer has announced that the capital's Executive Council has classified the project as an investment area – opening the door to non-UAE nationals. Investors from other countries will be able to obtain long-term leases on residential and commercial buildings.
