Nigeria's GDP to grow at 4.8%, says World Bank

The World Bank estimated Nigeria's economy to grow by 4.8 per cent this year, up from 4.3 per cent in 2009, its managing director said.

The World Bank's outlook was significantly below the central bank's forecast of 7.53 per cent last month, and a 6.4 per cent estimate from nine analysts polled by Reuters in January.
