Stimulus plan boosts tax refunds in US

The massive US economic stimulus plan is increasing average tax refunds by about $260 (Dh955), or nearly 10 per cent, the White House said yesterday.

Vice-President Joe Biden touted the refund news at an event in Washington yesterday.
