75 hurt in Andhra communal clashes

Police have fired warning shots in the air and imposed an indefinite curfew in parts of one of India's key information technology hubs as angry mobs of two religions clashed for a third straight day yesterday, leaving at least 75 people injured. A K Khan, the city police commissioner, said violence spread to new areas of Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh state.
