Musharraf says he does not expect ‘surgical attack’ from India
Pakistan’s former President Pervez Musharraf says he does not believe that India would undertake any kind of “surgical” attack against his country in connection with the Mumbai attacks, but has warned that the Pakistani army would respond to any such attack with full force.
Musharraf is a retired army general who was Pakistan’s leader from 1999 until last August.
Musharraf on Saturday condemned the November 26 Mumbai attacks, which New Delhi says were orchestrated by Pakistani militants.
Musharraf was speaking as he left Pakistan for a visit to the US.
