Property prices in Taipei remain high

Property prices in metropolitan Taipei are still "high" and the central bank will "closely monitor" asset price changes, Perng Fai-nan, Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan), will tell legislators this week.

The central bank has taken measures including "actively adjusting" market liquidity by issuing certificates of deposits.
