Recovery pushes dollar up against yen

The dollar touched the strongest level against the yen in more than seven months as a government report added evidence to speculation that the labour market is recovering. The greenback's rise against the Japanese currency tied last week's gain, the biggest since December. The dollar advanced 2.2 per cent, matching the most since the five days ended December 4 to 94.57 yen in New York yesterday.
