Indian billionaire Anil Ambani's Reliance Mediaworks, a film service company that counts Hollywood directors James Cameron as a client, plans to sell shares to existing investors to help fund a Rs2.5 billion (Dh202 million, $55m) expansion plan.
The film production service company, India's largest multiplex chain, plans to increase its movie screens by 19 per cent to 615 worldwide, Chief Executive Officer Anil Arjun said yesterday. About 80 percent of the new screens will be in India, he said. "The media industry is booming worldwide and will continue to boom," Arjun said. "Its growth is ours as well."
