Thailand raises economic growth forecast for 2010

Thailand's Finance Ministry raised its economic growth forecast for this year as the nation's economic recovery gains momentum, buoyed by rising exports and public spending. Gross domestic product is projected to expand four per cent to five per cent in 2010, with a mid-point forecast of 4.5 per cent, the government said yesterday.
