US missiles kill four militants

Missiles fired from a US drone targeted a car, killing at least four militants in Pakistan's lawless tribal badlands on the Afghan border yesterday, security officials said.

The strike took place at Amboor Shaga village, 25 kilometres west of Miranshah, the main town of North Waziristan, one of seven districts in the tribal belt that Washington has branded a global headquarters of Al Qaeda as it has been a conflict zone for decades.
