At least six dead in Colombian military aircraft accident

 

A Colombian military aircraft crashed on Saturday in a populated area in the country's south, killing six military personnel, a Colombian Air Force source told AFP.

The aircraft was flying in bad weather when it came down in Montanitas, in Caqueta Department, according to early reports.

The aircraft was flying from Florencia to San Vicente del Caguan.

There were no initial reports available of possible survivors of the crash or injured on the ground.
