Car festival starts from March 25

If you always wanted to jazz up cars, but were loth to try your skills out on your favourite set of wheels, here is a good opportunity to get those creative juices working without ruining your own car.

The second edition of the annual Dubai Car Art Festival will be held at the Dubai Festival City from March 25 to April 2, 2010, and wild imagination, creative skills and ingenious resources are all that you need to participate in the show.

Ten cars, sponsored by different companies in Dubai will be placed around the Centre's Marina Promenade and will be waiting for you to go and transform them into a moving object of art. Participating teams will be able to use a myriad of objects of their choice to 'art' up the car any day and time between March 25 and April 1. The final Parade and judging is scheduled for Friday, April 2.

While participation for schools and charities is free of charge, there is an entry fee of Dh3,000 for corporates and individual participants and all fees will go to the Dubai Autism Centre.
