Depa wins $102m metro deal

Dubai-based interiors contracting company Depa Ltd said on Wednesday it won a Dh375 million ($102.1 million) contract to fit out metro stations in Dubai.

Lindner Depa Interiors, a joint venture with Germany's Lindner Group which Depa controls, will fit out 13 stations on one of two urban railway lines being built, Depa said in a statement on Wednesday. The contract is for the Red Line, which will open next year.

Depa aims to raise at least $400 million in an initial public offering this month to finance expansion and acquisitions, and will list its stock on exchanges in Dubai and London, it said on March 26. (Reuters)
