Depa wins $102m metro deal

Dubai-based interiors contracting company Depa Ltd said on Wednesday it won a Dh375 million ($102.1 million) contract to fit out metro stations in Dubai. Lindner Depa Interiors, a joint venture with Germany's Lindner Group which Depa controls, will fit out 13 stations on one of two urban railway lines being built, Depa said in a statement on Wednesday. The contract is for the Red Line, which will open next year. Depa aims to raise at least $400 million in an initial public offering this month to finance expansion and acquisitions, and will list its stock on exchanges in Dubai and London, it said on March 26.
