Queen Elizabeth gets Blackberry

Britain's Queen Elizabeth II was on Monday given a Blackberry smartphone on her visit to the Research in Motion factory in Waterloo, Canada.

According to the British Press Association the Queen and her husband Prince Philip were in Canada since last week.

The association said the royal couple would travel to New York on Tuesday where the Queen is scheduled to address the United Nations and visit the Ground Zero site where the World Trade Centre stood before the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.
