Fire destroys 100 shops Deira’s Cabin Market

A fire in Deira’s Cabin Market gutted a cluster of about 100 shops early on Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out in Deira’s Naif Area about 1:45 am according to eyewitnesses.

The fire was put out by the civic authorities and no casualties have been reported although a few firefighters were treated for minor injuries.  

Last Wednesday, about 83 warehouses were gutted in a massive fire that had broken out in Dubai’s Al Quoz Industrial Area.
