Fire in Dubai's Al Quoz industrial area

A huge fire has broken out in Dubai’s Al Quoz industrial area this morning. Witnesses said that thick black cloud of smoke could be seen from a distance. Witnesses also spoke about a helicopter hovering over the area.

 

A loud explosion was earlier heard by those living and working near the industrial area. The loud noise rattled windows and doors.

According to some unconfirmed reports, the fire started in a warehouse stored with firecrackers in the industrial area.
