His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, chaired a Cabinet meeting in Abu Dhabi yesterday.
The meeting approved the national demographics authority. It also approved Dh165 million salary rise for staff at UAE University, Zayed University and HCT.
A plan to set up a council for co-ordinating financial policies of the Ministry of Finance and state government departments in the emirates was approved.
The Cabinet reviewed finances of federal bodies and approved budgets of several authorities. (Wam)
