Capital kids read for prizes

Grade five pupils from across the UAE capital stand the chance of being crowned the Read Aloud Champion in the first annual Kitab Read Aloud Competition which gets underway in Abu Dhabi this week.

The four-stage competition culminates in a meeting of five finalists during the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, from March 2 to 7. Participants will be rated according to their delivery, technique, understanding of the tone and mood of the piece.
