German team starts UAE visit from today

ABU DHABI German Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is visiting the UAE today as part of a regional tour that is taking in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Steinmeier, who is leading a high-level political and economic delegation, will hold talks with senior UAE officials on ways to further promote bilateral relations. Steinmeier's last visit to the capital Abu Dhabi took place in 2006.
