Leadership programme begins

 

The Promising Leaders Programme of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development (MBRPLD) was flagged off on Sunday with 70 young candidates who were handpicked for its fist batch.

According to Adel Al Shared, Director of MBRPLD, the Promising Leaders Programme, is an innovative leadership initiative developed by the MBRPLD in collaboration with the French business school Insead and Duke Corporate Education (Duke CE), a world leader in executive education.

It seeks to develop the nation's manpower resources to suit the leadership requirements of the Dubai Government in line with its strategic plan.

More than 2,000 UAE nationals were short listed for the programme, Shared said.
