The first batch of 227 students graduated yesterday from the Institute of Applied Technology in Dubai.
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, was guest of honour at the graduation ceremony, held at the Culture and Science Theatre. The institute has five campuses in the UAE, at Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Its directorate is located in Dubai.
The institute was founded in 2005 as a corporate body through a decree issued by the President
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
