Mansour chairs ADFD meeting

The Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Funds for Development (ADFD) yesterday held a meeting in Abu Dhabi to discuss the economic and social development projects it is funding in a number of countries to improve the living standards and create a suitable economic environment, which will provide for basic needs of development.

The meeting which was chaired by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Board also discussed a number of topics and recommendations on the ADFD's funding projects and its long-term future strategy.

ADFD has allocated Dh1.7 billion for easy loans over five years to fund infrastructure projects in a number of developing countries.

ADFD was established under the direction of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
