Asians AS, 20, MA, 21, MH, 29 and SM, 20 were yesterday jailed for a year, to be followed by deportation, for stealing a watchman's wallet and cable worth Dh10,000.
In another case at Dubai Criminal Court, Asian MA, 25, was jailed for six months followed by deportation for threatening a man with a knife and stealing Dh300 from him. MA and accomplices who are on the run carried out the robbery after entering the office where the victim worked. Asian salesman MA, 34, was sentenced to six months in jail followed by deportation for obtaining a residence visa with a forged passport.
