Mohammed bin Rashid Media College set up

The Mohammed bin Rashid College of Media has been launched in co-operation with the University of Southern California (USC).

The college, within the American University of Dubai, will receive students in the coming academic year.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, had earlier instructed the AUD to co-ordinate with the bodies concerned to prepare for the new college.

Sheikh Mohammed said the college should have a world-class standard.

The institution is expected to offer various media and journalistic specialisations.

The college will be supervised by a teaching staff with good academic expertise and media experience. Curriculums and teacher training will be supervised by the USC.
