New Zealand hails UAE's achievements

New Zealand's Prime Minister Helen Clark praised the UAE's achievements.

Clark met the UAE Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand, Dr Saeed Mohammed Al Shamsi, in Wellington.

She said relations between New Zealand and the UAE have seen continuous progress in all fields, particularly in trade, culture and tourism.

Al Shamsi said both the countries follow moderate foreign policy, adding that the UAE's location and booming economy make it a hot destination for invesments and tourism. (Wam)
