Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, directed heads of sector committees to work as one team to achieve strategic objectives.
He urged them to cooperate and coordinate efforts to ensure better service and development. Economic development was the biggest challenge, he said, urging committee heads to work efficiently, grow the emirate's economy, prepare ambitious economic plans and meet future competitiveness in tourism, logistics services and retail economy. He insisted they pay attention to local traders' problems and give them extra facilities and reduce formalities, fees and resolve obstacles.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Hamdan launched the 30th Plantation Week by opening the new Pond Park at Al Barsha, yesterday.
