Two arrested for stealing Dh14,500

Two people have been arrested for stealing money from their workplace.

The defendants QH (20-year-old Pakistani) and VA (31-year old Indian) stole Dh14,500 from the accountant’s office.

QH said three months ago the second defendant called him asking for help to steal money from the  company. They stole the Dh14,500 that they found in the accountant’s drawer. Some time later they decided to do the same but found no money. They were arrested as the footprints at the place of the crime proved to be theirs.
