Violations list presented in Deyaar case

Expert of the Financial Audit Department of Dubai Ruler's Court, Mohammed Mustafa Hussein, yesterday presented to Dubai Criminal Court hearing the case of Deyaar, a statement of the alleged financial violations committed by ZS when he was the company's chief executive officer. He also presented two document portfolios.

Former minister and board chairman, MK (Emirati), ZS (Lebanese American) and JM (Indian, at large) are involved.

Defence lawyers Sameer Jaafar and Ali Al Shamsi asked to study the documents and discuss them with Hussein. The case was adjourned to May 16. Hussein told the court that the former minister repaid some Dh56 million which covers his financial violations.

Emirates Business has learned that ZS's alleged violations in the case amount to Dh170 million.
