Workers housed at building site

Dubai Police are investigating a company manager, an Arab, for housing workers at a building under construction.

A case has been opened against the manager at Al Rashidiya police station. Deputy Dubai Police Chief Major-General Khamis Mattar Al Mazinah said Dubai Police summoned the general manager of the company and interrogated him, adding that he was charged with endangering the lives of workers.

He said the site was inappropriate for accommodation, with gas cylinders and inflammable materials found stored.
