Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Al Gaddafi has received General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and members of an accompanying delegation.
Sheikh Mohammed conveyed to Col Gaddafi greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
Welcoming Sheikh Mohammed, Col Gaddafi praised the burgeoning economic development the UAE is enjoying under the wise leadership of Sheikh Khalifa. He underscored the strong ties between Libya and the UAE.
The meeting dealt with ways to further promote the relations between Libya and the UAE.
The Libyan leader asked Sheikh Mohammed to convey his greetings and his best wishes to Sheikh Khalifa.
