Greek police say a car belonging to the Saudi Arabian Embassy has been damaged by suspected anarchist arsonists.
The pre-dawn attack in northeastern Athens is the second targeting a Saudi Embassy vehicle in two days. There have been no injuries or arrests.
Police say an anarchist group calling itself Anti-State Action claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s attack. A different anarchist group claimed responsibility for the previous strike.
In both cases, the arsonists set fire to small cooking gas canisters under the parked vehicles.
Arson gangs frequently carry out attacks in Athens, targeting banks, diplomatic vehicles, government departments and international companies. (AP)
