In today’s competitive world, CEOs, managers and employees are relentlessly looking for ways to improve their businesses, performance and their fortunes.

The UAE is no different.

Author Dr Stephen Lundin’s book Fish!, which deals with the issue of improving employee performance, was a Wall Street Journal bestseller and monthly Business Week bestseller for more than six years. His Fish Philosophy was put to use by Wild Wadi and was even put into practice in some of Dubai’s healthcare centres.

Talking about management books, Dr Lundin told Emirates Business: “The UAE is a very young and dynamic country where people work very hard to achieve success and happiness. And like the rest of the world it is also looking for ways to improve the performance of its workforce and improve its fortunes.” The books provide not only inspiration and practical lessons but also offer insight into the minds of people who realised their ambitions and made it to the top of the social ladder.

Here’s a list of the bestselling management books from the United States, United Kingdom and Australia last year.

They are available in major bookstores such as Borders, Magrudy’s and Jashanmal in the UAE.
