Bresnan misses maiden Test century

Tim Bresnan hit an impressive 91 as England extended their first-innings lead to 77 runs on the fourth day of the second and final Test against Bangladesh yesterday.

England added 56 to their overnight total of 440-8 before being bowled out for 496 in reply to Bangladesh's total of 419.

Bresnan, batting in only his second Test innings, defied the Bangladeshi attack for more than an hour in the morning session before missing out on his maiden Test hundred.
