Warne works to soothe strained India relations

Australian cricket great Shane Warne has attended a picnic to help soothe strained relations over recent attacks on Indian students.

Warne mingled with members of Victoria's Indian community yesterday, shaking hands, posing for photographs and signing autographs as guests dined on samosas and sandwiches at Melbourne's Parliament House. Warne is due to leave for India tomorrow to captain the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.
