Al Jazeera Sport wins World Cup rights

Al Jazeera Sport has won the exclusive rights to broadcast the Fifa 2010 World Cup in the Arab world, according to the ArabianBusiness.com.

To subscribe the five channels, existing subscribers of Al Jazeera Sport will have to buy a card worth $100 (Dh367) while new subscribers can take out a six-month deal for $130, The Qatar Tribune reported.
