Barcelona could be about to sell its Portuguese midfielder Deco and Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o to Chelsea.

"Barcelona is on the way to sealing a double deal with Chelsea" read reports in the Spanish press. Marca, a Spanish sports daily, claimed the Catalonians would sell the two players to the London club for 55 million euros (Dh302m).

It said Chelsea's signing of Brazilian coach Luiz Felipe Scolari, currently manager of the Portuguese national team, was the determining factor in Deco's decision to move to London and reject other offers, including one from Inter Milan.

A move by Eto'o to Chelsea however appears less certain, given offers from AC Milan and Inter Milan for the 27-year-old.

One player who won't be moving to Stamford Bridge however is AC Milan superstar Kaka. The Rossoneri have issued a hands-off warning to the Blues.

There had been fresh speculation linking Chelsea with the talented Brazilian playmaker but Milan insist they will not entertain any offers for him.

"It's normal for a Brazilian coach to try to bring in Brazilian players," technical director Leonardo said.

"But signing Kaka is impossible, because he is here at AC Milan and will be here until the end of his career."
