The UAE Football Association has announced the national team squad that will prepare for the final round of qualifiers for the 2010 Fifa World Cup and the forthcoming 2011 AFC Asian Cup.

The announcement came at an official press conference held by the UAE FA in Dubai where it was revealed the preparation programme will start on August 3.

The UAE will have a preparatory camp in Switzerland from August 3 to 14 before moving to France where they will stay until August 24. As previously reported, they will compete in a friendly match against Algeria on August 20.

After their French training camp, the Falcons will return to Abu Dhabi where they will have another preparatory camp and play a friendly match against Bahrain on August 29 – just eight days before kicking off the latter stages of their World Cup qualifying campaign against North Korea in Abu Dhabi.
